Syren (Septimus Heap, Book 5) by Angie Sage

After having read books 1-4, I was more than ready to start, Septimus Heap Syren,by Angie Sage. Like the previous books, it's mainly about Septimus Heap, the extraordinary Wizard, Marcia Overstrand's, apprentice. During a flight on Spit Fyre, his dragon,Septimus, his best friend Beetle, and his sister Princess Jenna are struck by lightning, and end up on a deserted (or so they think) island. From there the plot goes at a rapid pace with crazy, mixed up, charms, spell's, and adventure. They save people, the Castle, and friends from the past and present. Readers will not be disappointed as the series still holds it's charm. This book definitely gets a 5 out of 5.
